First Watch:

“White Couches”

(Video Premiere)

words by tom johnson

Earlier this year we had the honour of teasing Thelma’s self-titled album via the unveiling of “White Couches” – a stand-out track from the record and a song that remains one of our favourites of the year thus far. Brooding and powerful, the track makes for a furiously wholesome five-minutes, quietly swelling to the kind of grandiose finale that still takes the breath away so many plays down the line.

Released today, and with the full album out and available to the world, we’re very pleased to reveal White Couches’ counterpart; the stunning new animated video which is streaming below from today. While it’s shirking on our own duties somewhat, the new video is something that has far more to say for itself than anything we could proffer. Weird, wonderful, and brilliantly inspired throughout, we recommend finding your own space somewhere and diving head-first in to this most beguiling of new worlds.
