“A House On Fire”

by tom johnson

For all of his own muscular music might, Theo Verney continues to notch a number of stellar production credits and his latest work on the new track by TRAAMS results in perhaps both of their best work to-date. Released today and coinciding with the bands UK tour which kicks-off this evening, you can stream “A House On Fire” below as of right now.

A tumultuous and monumental near-nine minute journey, “A House On Fire” rushes headlong and forthright through thick wedges of guitar and a thoroughly imposing lead vocal. Waves of instrumentation make up most of the tracks extended running time but they remain deeply compelling throughout, building the whole thing up towards a white-noise crescendo that feels as brazenly alive as anything else we’ve heard this entire year. Yeah, that good. Play the heck out of it below.
