The formidable pairing of Mike Quigley and Kieran McShane – better known to most of us as Washer – today announce details of their brand new record, All Aboard, a fifteen-track effort which will be released once again via those dependable arms of Exploding In Sound, later this year on September 15th.

Billed as an album “filled with fuzz, aggression, off-kilter rhythmic structures and mangled pop hooks,” the duo have also shared the record’s introductory track, and “Your Guess Is As Bad As Mine” is every bit as gnarly and unhinged as we’ve come to expect. Opening with a suitably wobbly lead vocal, the new cut unravels across three knotty minutes, Quigley’s drunk-like squall backed by a somewhat deft backdrop of buzzy guitar and sturdy percussion that acts as the track’s dependable backbone.

A forthright and formidable return, the new track is a solid entry-point to the band’s new work – and you can check out the new track below right now; they also play a handful of shows this Summer:

07/22 – Brooklyn, NY @ Joy Palace (solo) w/ Montana Elliot & Nicholas Cummins
07/28 – Brooklyn, NY @ Alphaville w/ Grass Is Green & Lady Pills
08/10 – Brooklyn, NY @ Silent Barn w/ Stove, Rick Rude & Human People
08/11 – Cambridge, MA @ Marsh Post #422 w/ Ovlov, Rick Rude & Lina Tullgren
08/12 – Rollinsford, NH @ Sue’s w/ Ovlov, Rick Rude & Greed Island

‘All Aboard’ is released on September 15th, via Exploding In Sound
