It’s a productive time for Amen Dunes at the moment. This week sees the release of, Love, his brilliantly magnetizing and mesmeric new album on Sacred Bones, and this time next week he’ll be jetting across the pond to play some European shows alongside man-of-the-moment Mac DeMarco.

With the bewitching sounds of his new record fully embedded in our current days, we wanted to find out what music lay behind the man. Which records shaped him and guided him towards his wonderfully unique voice. We weren’t expecting it to be reggae, but we’ll take it.
