Something of a hidden gem in Toronto’s ever-progressive musical world, TV Sets have detailed their brand new EP, set to be released later this Summer, and also unveiled new track “Fools Day” – a glorious introduction that sets the wheels in motion on what might well prove to be one of the season’s definitive releases.

Produced by Josh Korody, best know for his work with both Dilly Dally and Beliefs, the new EP will get a full release in July and ‘Fools Day’ makes for a beautifully slow-burning introduction, exemplified by its accompanying video which furthers the underlying poignancy which makes the track such a captivating treat. Pitched somewhere in the dream-pop landscape, perhaps that vague and unhurried space between awake and dreams, the track melds playful instrumentation with a burned-out lead vocal that adds even extra weight to this evocative four-minutes.

Further details of the EP will be revealed in time, for now simply watch the brand new video below and find yourself drifting off somewhere else entirely.
