Suburban Living

by tom johnson

The final snippet to be released before Suburban Living unveil their full sophomore album, new track “Once/Twice” is a gorgeously hazy spread; the kind of sumptuous burst of all-embracing pop music that could almost make you forget the season’s recent shift towards something far less glowing than such music deserves.

Led by the charming lead vocal of¬†Wesley Bunch, the man who started SL as a solo project back in 2011, the gorgeous track is propelled forward by a instrumental that positively shines with a decadent sense of warmth. The new record was engineered by Jeff Zeigler, who has previously worked with the likes of The War on Drugs and Kurt Vile, and while their are touches of both of those¬†band’s romanticised vision, “Once/Twice” offers something altogether more winsome; the kind of luminous spirit that can shape your entire vision of a day.

The full record is release this Friday on the mighty 6131 Records, and you can stream the new track exclusively below.

‘Almost Paradise’ is released on October 7th, via 6131 Records
