We’ve been long-time fans of Kevin Krauter here at GFP, premiering his second EP, Changes, on these very pages back in the hazy days of 2016. Since then Krauter has unveiled brilliant work with the much-loved Hoops project, as well as releasing is debut full-length Toss Up just last year.

The Indiana singer-songwriter returned once again with a brand new single, Pretty Boy, released a little earlier this summer, and it’s that sweetly-sung, laid-back strum which forms the latest DOWN TIME live session – a new collaborative series of stripped-back performances between GFP, Fireball, and Brighton’s wonderful Small Ponds collective.

Filmed by Devin Yuceil, the new session finds Krauter out in the colourful wild, performing a tender version of the track, backed by subtle bass, guitar, keys, and some lovely harmonies that wrap the whole thing up in a gentle seasonal glow.

Check out the session below right now, and catch up on the previous episode, featuring Maps & Atlases, right here.
