Having cut his teeth with two previous records on Triple Crown Records and having previously opened shows for the likes of Do Make Say Think, Brand New, Manchester Orchestra, Kevin Devine and The Get Up Kids, Brian Bonz today unveils plans for his third full-length, the Misophonia LP, which is set for release May 19th via Seagreen Records and Six3Collective.
Tinged with the light grasp of the distant Summer, new track ‘The Man From Munich‘ – which is premiering below – is a hearty dose of guitar-pop, ample sized and delivered with the kind of gusto that can shake the last of the Winter blues from even the most sluggish of bodies. Building itself up slowly, Bonz’s steady vocal paves the way for an emphatic second-half which sees the track bloom in to the kind of dynamic, enthusiastic proclamation that any of the aforementioned artists would happily broadcast.
Steadfast and infectiously energetic, the new cut acts as a perfect foreword to Bonz’s next chapter – and you can stream it exclusively below right now.
Misphonia is released on May 19th, via Seagreen Recs
