A riotous and righteous from the first snarling vocal to the last ring of guitar, Cayetana deliver a fiery sermon of self-progression on brilliant new track “Bus Ticket” – the latest to be unveiled from the band’s forthcoming ‘New Kind Of Normal‘ LP, which is released on May 5th, via Plum Records.
“This is the new me and I won’t apologise,” bellows Augusta Koch as the track crashes in to its hearty chorus, another memorable hook from the most endearing of power-pop songs. Laced with fire and breathless energy, the whole thing feels wildly empowering, the listener following in the coat-tails of the protagonist, cheering on each and every moment of openness and growth while also, perhaps, reconfiguring their own outlook on such things. Yep, that good.
The full record is out in just a couple of weeks, and promises to be something very special indeed. For now, however, you can listen to the bold and brilliant new track below.
