This week sees the release of Beware and Be Grateful, the new LP from Chicago quartet Maps & Atlases. The record marks a subtle shift in their sound, with the always-compelling band adding a good chunk of heart and soul into proceedings creating a record that manages to be intriguing, instantly danceable and rather damn beautiful all at the same time.
We’ve loved the band since their (completely perfect) early EP’s, so it was something of an honour to be able to film a session with them as they landed upon UK shores for a bunch of dates in support of the new record. The first part of our session features the band performing album-highlight Fever.
