Spinoza has just the right amount of bounce to compel you to do more than just sit and listen to it. The latest single from the American duo Generational makes me want to drive, skate and swim and run in the sunshine. Despite being New Orleans natives, the Generationals have a distinctly Cali-inspired surf-rock sound that shines throughout this debut single off their latest LP, Heza. It’s the kind of sweet pop song that tricks you into believing in endless summers by enticing you with catchy vocals and lingering riffs, it’s a bright and breezy listen that will demand a few repeat plays….I’ve had it on loop all afternoon.
Heza is released via Polyvinyl Records on CD, LP, cassette, and mp3 on April 8th.
