“So Sorry”

With immediacy and spirit, Beezewax present their new track “So Sorry” – an introduction to a brand new EP from the Norwegian group who have been concocting timeless pop since the 1990s, releasing six full-length albums in that time, as well as a bundle of singles to-boot.

With a measure of soft, effortless melodies building into a procession of ebullient noise, Beezewax trail the exasperated undertaking of trying to break down someone’s shield to help them with their inner feelings of despair – attempting to pull them from their shy exterior and finding frustration from failure. Jan-Erik Hoel is an empathetic narrator, apologetic and wanting nothing more than to relieve them of the pain they are suffering.

Despite the density of the narrative, Beezewax present “So Sorry” with brilliant gusto; the breeziness of the lead vocal underpinned by a buoyant back-drop of instrumentation that flips between seasoned swathes of guitar and something altogether more emphatic.

Taken from their upcoming EP ‘Out of The Window‘ which is out October 7th via SellOut! Music, you can listen to ‘So Sorry’ today – be sure to check out the band’s UK live dates below too.
